Starbucks has submitted plans for a new location on Norman’s north side.
Plans show the lot at the corner of Highway 77 and West Tecumseh Road to be split with Starbucks occupying the north portion of the site. The southern part is reserved for future development which has not been announced.
The freestanding location will be approximately 1300 square feet and feature two drive-thru lanes. One driveway on the south side of the site will handle access to both lots.
Starbucks currently operates 6 locations in Norman: freestanding locations at Classen & Highway 9, Boyd & Asp, and Main Street; Cafes in Brookhaven Village, and University North Park; and a location inside Target. A 7th location located inside the Oklahoma Memorial Union was closed for the Fall 2020 semester due to COVID-19.
