Wendy’s planning new NW Norman location

Posted on July 14, 2019

Norman Development has learned Wendy’s is planning to be a tenant of a new development in Northwest Norman.

The development, Carroll Farms, encompasses over 50 acres on the Northeast corner of Tecumseh Road and 36th Ave NW. The land is directly North of the Norman Regional Healthplex. Site plans from approval in 2015 suggest office, commercial and multi-family uses.

Norman-based EKP Tecumseh LLC sold the 0.71 acre parcel to Michigan-based Wen Tennessee LLC for $775,000. EKP is slated to develop a 25,500 square foot retail strip center to the north of the purposed Wendy’s. Groundbreaking for the strip center is expected late this year. EKP also has a second pad site to east still for sale.

Wendy’s is also slated to construct a new restaurant as a part of a South Norman development at Classen Boulevard and Highway 9.
