Norman’s Gold’s Gym will soon be Planet Fitness.
In a letter sent to members today, Gold’s CEO Adam Zeitsiff said the location would permanently close effective April 12, 2020. Existing memberships will be honored at Steel Gym & Tan.
Planet Fitness has submitted a $850,000 building permit for renovations at the former Gold’s location at 1000 E. Alameda St., according to records obtained by Norman Development.
Planet Fitness currently operates 7 metro locations.
