National coffee chain bringing 2 new locations

Coffee and doughnut company Dunkin’ has begun construction on two Norman locations.

Founded in 1950 in Quincy, Mass., Dunkin’ currently has over 8,500 locations in 41 states across the US and 3,200 international locations in 36 countries according to the company’s website.

Permits filed show the first location will be built at 2531 W Main Street in the parking lot of a former Mitsubishi dealership currently occupied by a medical marijuana dispensary and a used car dealership. Permit records list the location as a “Carryout Restaurant.”

The second location will be built at 301 E Robinson Street. The building, which Dunkin’ will achor, will also have a shell space available for lease.

Dunkin’ currently operates 7 locations in Oklahoma City, two locations in Edmond, one location in Moore, and one location in Newcastle.
